Accent Coach

Read a sentence aloud. It compares the phonemes you produced against the phonemes an American-English speaker would produce, and ranks your recurring pronunciation patterns.

How it works

  1. Listen. A speech model breaks your recording down into individual sounds (phonemes) — not whole words.
  2. Compare. Those sounds are lined up against the sounds a native American-English speaker would make for the same sentence.
  3. Coach. Recurring mismatches are matched to well-known pronunciation patterns, each with a tip on how to produce the sound and words to practice it.
